Star Academy graduate Amal Bouchucha’s new show on Rotana Top 20 has been quite the success so far in my opinion. A few days ago a new episode aired in the Christmas spirit with the guest being singer Madeline Matar! Madeline who appeared stunning in red (but not as stunning as Amal B. if you ask me) did more than just sing on this episode. She talked quite a lot about her movie ‘Akher Kalam’ in which she's got the lead role. There has been a lot of talk about the movie and some have claimed that she was chosen simply for her ‘seductive’ nature.

This Madeline denied with fervor on the show whilst stressing that she was chosen on the basis of the success she had in Egypt. Although I disagree with the exaggeration of how successful Madeline is in Egypt, I must also say that just because a non-Egyptian actress is chosen for a role doesn’t mean it is because she is required to shed her clothes!! As for the quarrel between her and Haifa Wehbe, Madeline insisted on labeling it as a misunderstanding and claimed that she and Haifa had made peace.
