-Zaher was born in March 27, 1987 in Lebanon from a Palestinian father and a Palestinian mother. Both of our parents are teachers, our father is a geography teacher and our mother is an Arabic teacher. Zaher is the youngest of us; we are a family of six, 4 boys (Samer, Basil, Ahmed, Zaher) and the parents. Let me tell you a little about this boy, I can start by saying that he is different from all of us, we have no talent what so ever, but he on the other hand got it all. I was always amazed by his “persistence and determination to achieve” he wanted to do everything, wanted to be everywhere. The opportunity came to Zaher when we immigrated to USA, and making a long story short, I, as his brother and people around him noticed his love for photography, he was producing amazing pictures ( really, great pictures), and on his own started a small business where he was going to small weddings, small engagement parties and so on… He even opened a small photography shop but that didn’t work out (because the city we live in is relatively small plus other factors). If you would ask me “about the first thing that comes to my mind about Zaher?” I would say, “he is always in his room singing and on the computer” and the things that he was doing on the computer…WOW, but Zaher’s biggest love remains with modeling, and he has tons and tons of pictures ( I will be providing some pictures soon). Before the star academy, Zaher was a host of a program with one of his friends in the ART station the program is called “min America” were they were hosting a show with famous Arabs in America or Arabs visiting America and one of his interviewed was with Majeda al-Romee and other that I don’t know (http://www.al-sahafa.us/MakingNews-A...w2007part2.htm) and now he is in “Star Academy”. And I wish him the best of luck.
Friends, I, Samer Saleh, would love to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, support, and amazing affection you showed towards my brother, but at the same time, I want to remind you that Zaher is only 1 palestinian, let us not forget the rest, who are under occupation, suppression, oppression, who are living in a slaughter house, I implore upon you and ask you with great humility; NOT TO FORGET GAZA. Thanks
