Demi Lovato’s Seventeen Magazine luncheon was held yesterday to celebrate the new magazine issue with an in-depth interview and photo shoot with the former Disney star. One of Demi’s BFFs Selena Gomez wasn’t able to attend the event, but she did make sure she sent a message that was read to Demi and the other attendees.
“You have courage—courage to want to change to be
better for yourself. The amount of respect I have for you is
indescribable. You have gone through one of the hardest chapters in your life and I praise you for wanting to share that journey and walk away from it all as a better person. Thank you for trusting me and wanting me there during that hard time. I hope you know how much I love you and how proud I am of the role model that you have become.”
